A lot of religions are rooted in anthropomorphic thought basically states that God is a man. Oh yeah, a lot of them ‘explain’ this away by saying that primitive man in order to explain the ‘majesty’ of an ‘invisible’ being utilized imagery that was related to human attributes. Over time, they say, ‘primitive’ man removed the human attributes and was able to express God as fully abstract as he (notice all of the main monotheistic religions refer to him as he) was ‘beyond’ (wherever that is) ‘mere’ human expression.
Another explanation, that they hardly mention, is that the ‘God’ mentioned in all of the scriptures was originally just cast as a man and latter authors ‘spooked him up’.

To the East
Peace,
One of the keys for growth and development is to broaden one’s view from local to universal and find the balance between both. Look for universal patterns and see how they are applicable on the local level. See how what one does on a local level can expand to encompass the universe.
If one looks toward the East one can see that various groups of original people are choosing to work with each other rather then work with the European Union or the United States that historically have been their oppressors in terms of slavery, colonization, genocide, etc.. It has always been the union of Original People that the European Union and the United States feared because then these people would then become self sufficient. One of the main thrust for slave trade and colonization is that these parts of the planet are rich in resources; mentally and physically. When they realize that they will get rich from their own labor then Europe and the U.S. can no longer get rich off of their labor.
It is important for original people in this part of the planet to ‘get a clue’ also and pool our resources for one common cause.
The only way that a minority on the planet can keep control over a majority is through making sure that the majority fractures. The easiest way to do this is to make everyone think that they are different then one another. It is also known as the ‘Willie Lynch’ syndrome (http://www.pasadenajournal.com/id62.html). We, as original people, have bought into this for so long that many of us actually think that we ARE different from each other. Many of us identify more with a group of people that have historically oppressed us rather than with other ethnic groups who have a similar history of oppression.
If you live in ‘any ghetto u.s.a.’ you know the science. Who can forget ‘Black Korean’ by Ice Cube? How many ‘african-americans’ complain about all of the East Indian or foreign Muslims who own all of those ‘quickie-marts’? How many ‘mock’ the ‘africans’ street vendors?

The Duty
Peace,
In 120 degrees the Gods and Earths are reminded that we have a duty to perform as civilized people. This involves making sure that this message reaches those who need the message. My good brother Justice Rajee Allah had an extensive explanation about the root of duty in his blog space Brave Thinking on May 2nd (http://bravethinking.blogspot.com/2005/05/moral-worth.html).
While doing the Knowledge to his essay I realized that God has a duty toward Earth and Earth has a duty toward God. Those with Knowledge of Self are never satisfied to define their self as ‘just’ a ‘baby’s daddy’ or ‘baby’s mama’. We realize that our duty compels us to fulfill the roles of Father and Mother respectively. This is the value marker in our Culture.
There is a corner store on the end of my block. We make frequent use of it. I’m “all grown up now” so I don’t have the idle time that I use to in order to just ‘hang out’. I have chosen to use my time to spend with my family, pursue my own growth and development, and focus on different aspects of Building in Allah World Manifest.
I took time though last night to speak with some of the young boys on the corner last night. This is how I use to reach all of the youth yet as I grew older with new responsibilities I had to manage my time more effectively. While speaking with them I realize that I uphold a certain standard as a Ruler. A Ruler sets standards which are the Rules. God is the measurer of all things. Through them seeing me live out my role as a Father in my Kingdom at home it creates an avenue for me to perform my duty as a civilized person to them.

If anyone has read the book 1984 (if not check the sparknotes here http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=spark+notes+1984&fr=FP-tab-web-t&toggle=1&ei=UTF-8) or just studied the Hitler Youth of WWII one can see how a government turns children against their parents. Thus the children become agents for the government's agenda.
In the post 9-11 environment NOTHING seems outside of the realm of reality. Things that we thought were restricted to science fiction have now come to past.
One of the clearest ways to negate people coming together is to make them think that they are different and introduce particles that cause separation. Do the Knowledge to this article.

Comics?

Random bit of info. DC comics had an imprint in the early to mid/late 90’s called ‘Milestone’. It was a comic line dealing with ‘ethnic’ superheroes. It folded eventually. The only thing that survived from that run is the current cartoon on TV with the young black superhero Static.
Anyway, one of the comics was called ‘Blood Syndicate’. One of the heroes on that team was a boy by the name of Wise Son. The creator of Blood Syndicate has admitted that the character of Wise Son was based on one of his friends from his youth who was a Five Percenter.
Wise Son, the 1st (and only albeit) comic superhero inspired by the Nation of Gods and Earths.

My Old Dad always states that if one was left butt naked on an island all that they would have of worth was their word. He always stresses the importance of one’s name in connection with uttering the Truth.
Many cultures and the streets connect ‘keeping one’s word’ with the genitals (in the Bible they use the euphanism of 'thigh' for the genitals sometimes). Breaking one’s oath is synonymous with loosing one’s dick or balls. Thus one is loosing the ability to generate LIFE.
Word is Bond. Word is LIFE.
If you are telling people that you are God then one must keep their word, oath, promise. My family doesn’t want to hear that after I said that I would that I didn’t bring home food, provide clothing, or neglect shelter.
At this point I impress upon my son the value in telling the Truth. He must also see the penalties involved in denying the Truth.
Simple advice in my house….’Think it out before you open your mouth.’

God-Hop Part VI

My alike Sha-King mentioned in his blog space (http://yellowseed.blogspot.com/) in his post on Sunday, April 17, 2005 his distain of the ‘biters.’ I cosign that post (though it doesn’t even need it). What is obvious from a casual observation of the landscape of Hip-Hop is that many MCs in the arena have different relationships to the Nation of Gods and Earths. Some are actual Gods and Earths, others are straight biters, some have been unconsciously influenced, while others aren’t Gods and Earths yet they acknowledge the influence. This is a quote from Saigon (if you haven’t heard his songs ‘The Color Purple’ or ‘Kiss the Baby’ find those cuts NOW) from issue #21 of Don Diva magazine ‘the original street bible.’
The album is coming sooner than you think. Me and Just banged out like 10 blazing joints in the past month! Still, it’s about making an album right and having it make sense. I’m trying to change the world with this shit. The title of the album is, “Greatest Story Never Told,” after Clarence (13) X the father who started the 5% Nation. I’m trying to pick up where he left off. This music shit is the most powerful weapon we got, ya know? We got to use it for more than just promoting some white man’s car or clothing company and shit. We gotta use it to build.
I also got a chance to peep the article on the Nation of Gods and Earths in the current issue of the Source (it is the first of a 2 part article). It is entitled “All Praises Due” written by Sun-God Scientific Allah and with photographs by Jamel Shabazz (who has put out an excellent book of photographs from the 80’s called “Back in the Day” and also an upcoming book entitled “A Time Before Crack). I will reserve my overall critique of the article until after it is finished. One thing that I will point out is that the list of the 1st nine Born (the first 9 youth whom Allah taught) is wrong. It is a common mistake that stems from an incorrect version of the Nation history being passed around. The list in the Source mixes up some of the 1st nine Born with the first Born of Medina (Brooklyn). I do have to give props to the Source for allowing us to write our own history in the periodical though (instead of getting a random reporter).

It's 10:42..do you know where your children are?

For those of us old enough remember do the Knowledge to this.

I was in 4th grade. This was around when the 'Candy Man' urban legends started popping up (yeah...the movie ripped off a Black urban legend). It was also around the time of the satanic child abuse conspiracies also popping up. I remember inside recess and mad police presence around the schools during these times. I remember reading years later on how the FBI was investingating the KKK in regards to the murders and NONE of that information made it to the trial. I also remember reading on how the murders didn't stop. Also there were a host of murders of poor black females in Atlanta afterwards also.
This is relevant to me because we are responsible not only for our children. We are responsible for the children of our community. If we cannot forge a sense of unity within our community for one common cause then that is when we are vunerable to devilishment.
How well do you know your block? Would you recognize if there was a stranger on your block? Would you be mistakened for a stranger on your block? Do the children on the block know you? Do you know them? Blocks are for Building and the 'Block' is one of the smallest units for constructing a community.
Let's get those hands dirty and start Building.

Investment
Peace,
Today I took a personal day from work to go on a field trip with my son's class. Myself and the Earth take turns adding on with his class with field trips, parent conferences, etc. The trip was to Mystic Sea Aquarium which is in Mystic, CT about 40 minutes East of New Heaven (New Haven) just outside of New Life (New London). I was given responsibility for a group of four children which included I-Victory. I spent alot of the day observing the babies in action.
One of the 'classical' definitions for Knowledge in our Nation is to stop, look, listen and observe with respect. That first part is key...STOP. It is not just important for children to listen to us, it is important for us to listen to them in order to gain insight into what they are observing and how they are processing information.
What I was impressed with was the level of intellect at this point in their development. It lends weight to the effects of being fed the wrong foods later on in life and being fed said foods consistently. At this point where they are been fed less of the wrong foods they make many on point observations about how to act right(eous), what is real and what isn't, and general cooperation.
I was also impressed by my own son's magnetic (okay, okay, yeah...it was the Father in me coming out). He regularly calls me either Dad or God...each one about 50% of the time. By the end of the day all the babies in my groups were calling me God..lol. We the language of our Nation constantly in our household. He uses it also. What I was suprised by though was that he had already influenced some of the children in his class to speak some of the language. So when the children were sharing one of the said something about 'dealing in Equality'. When they were speaking about paying attention they were saying 'do the KNowledge.' It was crazy. It was like I was in a Civilization Class:)
Power is invested and the greatest investment that one can make is in the future. It is up to us to develop means for our children to express their self confidence in a productive manner.

Today I took a personal day from work to go on a field trip with my son's class. Myself and the Earth take turns adding on with his class with field trips, parent conferences, etc. The trip was to Mystic Sea Aquarium which is in Mystic, CT about 40 minutes East of New Heaven (New Haven) just outside of New Life (New London). I was given responsibility for a group of four children which included I-Victory. I spent alot of the day observing the babies in action.
One of the 'classical' definitions for Knowledge in our Nation is to stop, look, listen and observe with respect. That first part is key...STOP. It is not just important for children to listen to us, it is important for us to listen to them in order to gain insight into what they are observing and how they are processing information.
What I was impressed with was the level of intellect at this point in their development. It lends weight to the effects of being fed the wrong foods later on in life and being fed said foods consistently. At this point where they are been fed less of the wrong foods they make many on point observations about how to act right(eous), what is real and what isn't, and general cooperation.
I was also impressed by my own son's magnetic (okay, okay, yeah...it was the Father in me coming out). He regularly calls me either Dad or God...each one about 50% of the time. Hustler
Peace,
Way back when I was younger my Dad use to always say to me that it was good to know how to hustle yet it wasn't good to be a hustler. I didn't have an Understanding of what he was saying when he first dropped it on me.
I was physically birthed into this world in 1971 so I grew up in the late 70's through the 80's. During that time several of the 'archetypes' that are present in Hip Hop nowadays ('the pimp', 'the pusher', 'the drug dealer', 'prostitute', etc.) I saw. This includes the hustler. What I will say about all of the above is that the whole population of the ghetto wasn't filled with these people. Nowadays it appears that EVERYONE is/was a 'pimp', 'drug dealer', 'hustler'. I am here to let you Knowledge that was never the case and STILL isn't the case.
It is good to know how to hustle yet not good to be a hustler.
I came to a Universal Understanding of this when I ran track in High School. If I was behind during practice the coach would yell, "hustle, hustle". It was the sign for one to 'catch up' because they were behind.
It is good to have the ability to catch up yet if one is always behind and always has to catch up then they need to rethink their position.
One of my older brothers, Barkim Powerful Allah, let me Knowledge simply that we make things happen. In Understanding oneself one should realize what it is that they value and what meaning they are going to leave within life?
Allah the Father is said to have said that a man doesn't start to really Understanding anything until he reaches his 30's (paraphrase). I bear witness that I am learning more about what I WANT to do and HOW to bring it about. Having a son has brought me more Understanding. Working with the youth ALWAYS sets the condition for Understanding to develop.
I have just realized that working with the youth has always been my passion. I have already made certain moves to orient myself back in that direction.
