23 Scientists

Unfortunately “science” is not stressed amongst original people in the inner city. It is classified as either ‘geek/nerd’ stuff or, by so called ‘conscious’ people it is classified as ‘the devil’s/whiteman’s’ science. The earliest aboriginal civilizations were/are masters of science and original people continue to contribute to the field on a great level. While encouraging our children to be the best that they can be we should never leave this out of our discussion.

The United States realized the resource in science aptitude amongst its youth post WWII. They were in a Cold War Race with the USSR to get to the moon. They stressed math and science in the curriculum in public education. A lot of scientist came out of that period. China and Japan also stresses this in their curriculum and are currently turning out a lot of inventions. We can reap the same benefits as original people by realizing this resource in our own children to further the growth and development of civilization.
