The Science Fair

One portion of the Show and Prove is the Science Fair/Display. In my years, months and days in the Nation I have seen several different displays. I have seen a small 'earthquake' generator, experiments with solar energy, experiments with robotics. The experiments are either done by the babies or they are done by adults who explain the principles behind the experiment to the children.

This picture is from a couple of years back when I did an experiment with gas expansion (get an empty soda bottle, put some vineger in it, put some baking soda in a small balloon, put the mouth of the balloon over the mouth of the bottle, dump the baking soda into the vineger, the viniger releases the carbon dixoide gas and it expands the baloon). The babies broke down how the experiment was related to

-Knowedge, Wisdom, Understanding
-Solid, Liquid, Gas
-observation, recitation, and comprehension

I make sure that I always am invovled or viewing the science fair portion of the Show and Prove.
