Gods and Earths Cookbook

RECIPIES NEEDED FOR GODS AND EARTHS COOKBOOK

Asiatic Light Publishing is calling for submissions for a cookbook entitled “Eating the Right Foods” that will be published in early 2008.

The full staff of editors has yet to be selected.

From the Kosher laws of the Jews, to the Halal laws of the Muslims to the Ayuvedic cooking of India to the Ital cooking of Rastafarianism you have various groups of people whom have a structured diet that is in tune with health, tradition and culture. The Nation of Gods and Earths is no different. This cookbook will be reflective of the dietary traditions of the Nation of Gods and Earths.

We are looking for recipe submissions that are in tune with the dietary traditions of the Nation of Gods and Earths (no pork or scavengers, clean meat, no fish over 50lbs, no collard/mustard greens-this is th foundation though there is more). These recipes can cover a wide range of meals from breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, deserts, etc.

The book will also have throughout it various essays dealing with the science and history of scavengers, diet in the Nation, proper preparation of the right foods, and general science of health.

It will be an all inclusive book so it will have sections for recipes dealing with those who still eat various forms of meat all the way down to those whom are vegetarian/vegan/raw foodist.

Finally, there are a few other Nation cookbooks that are coming out. This book is in no way working to be in conflict with said titles. We like food so I know we have enough recipes for all.
