News articles that caught the 3rd Eye.

Peace,

DIABETES
This article talks about how the Black Middle Class is still affected by diseases associated with those in poverty. This is due to the fact that since they work hard and overtime to ‘keep up with the jones’ and to compensate for the legacy of slavery they neglect their own health. Know the right foods AND eat the right foods.

HEALTH IN ENGLAND VS. THE U.S.
This is another article on health explaining on how those in England are healthier than those in the U.S. Ironically the study only dealt with White males so that they wouldn’t have to deal with the ‘special health issues of other ethnic groups in the U.S.’ This is a HUGE flaw in the study in that they remove the data on how health data may be different between different ethnic/racial groups despite being of a similar socio-economic class.

INTERVIEW WITH DESMOND TUTU
One of the greatest fears that I have observed is that many in white society fear that if the tables were turned Original People would do the same thing to them which was historically done to them. One of the places that doesn’t really get a lot of media shine in terms of ‘peaceful’ transition is Azania (South Africa). Here is an interview with Desmond Tutu where he drops it. Here’s a direct quote from the above article “By and large, the white community does not seem to have shown an appreciation for the incredible magnanimity of those who were the major victims of a system from which they [the whites] benefited so much.”

SLAVERY AND MEXICO
With all of the current talk about immigration from Mexico I was kind of ‘surprised’ when a Black ‘leader’ postured his position with ‘what have they done for us. I dedicate the above article to him.

MEXICAN DEPORTEES FROM BACK IN THE DAY
Being a ‘citizen’ doesn’t guarantee that ‘your’ government won’t act against you. Look at the Civil Rights era and the Japanese-American camps during WWII. Well, in light of the current illegal/legal immigrant/alien debate look at this bit of forgotten/hidden history.

BOOKER T. WASHINGTON AND HEALTH
Looks like even back then Blacks were being affected by health issues. Current research points out that Booker T. Washington died from health concerns.

THE UNIVERSE
‘No beginning…no ending.’ The ‘big bang’ doesn’t mean that something came from nothing. It’s just one point in a cycle.
